The foyer, with the cool soffit that Steven and Miles built!

The office... It looks two feet wider and much longer!

The livingroom... That's the washer in the foreground, sitting in the dining room. Do you see the lights glowing on the ceiling? Steven rigged a switch so that we could see what the room would look like lit. It's also helpful when you're working past 10pm.

The garage... It looks so much bigger now.

The master bedroom... The window on the back wall is still encased in sheetrock. I hope they don't forget it!

This is the guest bedroom/craft room...

This is what we, well Steven, got done today. I assisted briefly and played with paint colors the rest of the time. Tomorrow it should be encased in sheetrock and it will be beeaaautifuuuullll!

Yesterday we took a well deserved day off. We took the ferry off the rock to go appliance and tile shopping. I know I said we took the day off, but there are only two appliance stores on the island and three tile stores. The selection is limited. We did have some fun however. We managed to stop in Ballard for the Seafood Festival and went to Lake Union to chat with the volunteers at the Center for Wooden Boats. We got to see a race and met a member of the Puget Sound Sailing Club. We are definitely looking forward to next summer. We even stopped at a marina on the way home and talked to a salesperson about a Hunter 17, which is the longer version of our old JY15. I see a sailboat in our future!
