Well, I have no new pictures cuz it doesn't look that much different. The sheetrock is all up - finally! Kelly started spraying the mud on today. He's only got a few walls covered. As he said, it has a nice light texture, like the paint roller leaves when you paint. We really wanted a smooth wall finish and that's what we are getting.
Steven got two decks underway this past weekend. The deck in the garage, going up to the inside door and back man door is done - we just need stairs. The deck frame to the front door is done.
I got almost half of the exterior soffit stained and hope to finish by the end of the week, although the weather may not permit. It's decided to misbehave and RAIN. Why???? We've only had a few days of summer and now it feels like fall is quickly setting in. I'm hoping for indian summer. We'll see. We have the first two weeks of September off to finish siding and paint.
Cabinets are scheduled to be installed the second week in September. Maybe it's a tall order, but I'm hoping to get the kitchen counters installed before the end of our vacation. Lauren and Anthony will be here for a few days to give us a hand.
