Construction Update...

We should have footings tomorrow. As it goes, it was supposed to happen today. One day off isn't too bad.

We closed on the big scary loan yesterday afternoon, on our way to my first post op appointment. What can you say about a loan closing? There was a pile of paper we had to sign. We signed it, asked a few questions, and the deed was done )no pun intended). We are now indebted to the bank for 30 years. Wow!

The post op appointment was brief. I was hoping to see Dr. Smith, but the P.A. appeared instead. We went over what transpired during surgery. The rotator cuff was torn, rather significantly, above the supraspinatas (sp?). Luckily, the Dr. didn't have to reattach it to the bone. So, instead of being laid up for two weeks, I'll be out of commission for 6 or so. I'm going to feel like a foreigner when I go back to work. One side benefit - I get to be "hands on" the construction project. Well, one hand on at least!
