Moving Day/Valentine's - Oh My!

Yes, we really did move all of our stuff in today, Valentine's Day. Not very romantic, but it sure beats waiting until the last week in February.

Next weekend is Mystery Weekend - a very busy weekend for us character actors. We will be going around the town confusing the lot of sleuths, pointing the finger at anyone but ourselves. Although, it is fun to make them wonder if we did it. Only the Langley Loons (the writers) know who dun it until the arrest is made Sunday afternoon.

So, a big thanks to Cameron and Hans for helping us load and unload the big truck. We really lucked out this morning. The only truck available mid-week was a 14 footer - not the best option... Someone turned in a 20+ footer this morning, just before Steven called to let the UHaul people know we were still coming. We kind of overslept. We had a hot and heavy evening of Dominos that kept us out late Friday. I'm still trying to recover.

Dominos sounds like a game for old farts, but it's really quite fun, with a lot of strategy. We play Mexican Train. I can't begin to describe it, so you'll have to take my word for it that the game is fun.

Steven is out, dropping off the truck and getting fixings for a lovely Valentine's meal. I'm fading fast - hope I'll last...

By the by, we have our occupancy permit. We had the inspector come back out on Wednesday and he passed us. We got our little beige piece of paper that makes it legal for us to live here - thank the good Lord. No more deadlines!
