We Have Temporary Occupancy!!!!

Well, the inspector has come and gone. We have a 90-day temporary occupancy. We've got to put a seal on the crawlspace cover - that's all we have to do hopefully. The issue with not having final occupancy has to do with the height of the furnace. I guess in Island County any source of ignition in your garage has to be at least 18" from the garage floor. The base of our furnace is 14" from the garage floor. So, we now have to wait for the building inspector to confer with the head of the building department to see if we can pass the way we are or ??? I surely hope we don't have to move the furnace. It's imbedded in 6" of concrete... I've put a call into the heating company that installed the furnace to see what they know/can come up with. I won't hear back from the building inspector until Monday. But, we can convert our loan. As far as the bank is concerned, we are done! Yeah!!!!
