The Plumbing is Finished - For the Most Part...

We got to use our plumbing, i.e. toilets and shower on Tuesday morning. What a relief it is to be able to function out of one house. Now we can have the port-a-pottie hauled away.

The trim is almost done. We have a few pieces to install around the bottom of our vanity in the master bathroom and around the kitchen cabinets. We still have trim around the countertops to install as well. Next week...

Today is outside painting, exterior trim and caulking. Then we have to get to the dump. I am amazed at how much trash/recycling is created from this project.

We got the washer and dryer partially hooked up last night - not without incident however. We dropped the washer and broke the little drawer front that you access for soap dispensing. It still works - thank goodness. We'll have the dryer vent hooked up later today and I can do laundry this evening. Yippie!!!!

So, I've been promising photos. I found the cable to my camera and downloaded a bunch of old photos. I wish I knew how to put together a slide show. It would make this so simple for both you and me...

Well, isn't it obvious... The laundry closet

The master linen closet

Here's the master shower without glass wall. It's on order and coming very soon!!!!

Another view of the master bath

The front of the house - someday I'll be able to get it without construction debris, cars and ladders

A view from the back yard. It will surely be nice to see when all of the junk is gone and we have landscaping done.

The south side of the house

The north side of the house - as you can see, the decks are next on the list for outside projects. Marsha and Rod will be on that tomorrow.

Well, there are more pictures, but you will have to be patient. I've got to get to work. The sun is shining and it's warming up outside...
