Settling In - Sort Of...

Well, it's been a couple of weeks since we started moving over to the new house, Louise's house and storage. Our stuff is scattered to the wind, but it feels great. We're tired and cold, but we're out of the rental and moving towards being in our house full-time.

We spent the last two weekends working on siding. I told Steven before we started this project that we should have had someone else do the siding, but he thought we'd save a lot of money doing it ourselves. I can understand why. Siding is tedious, complicated and never ending. Thankfully, we got some help this weekend to put up the metal siding. It's not done yet, but it looks really cool. I love the transitions between hardipanel, cedar and the metal. All the colors look great together.

I wish I could show you what we've accomplished with the siding, but my computer is out of commission. It houses the software to resize my photos. Hopefully, I'll be back up and running soon. Working on computers in the evening is the last thing Steven wants to do, so it takes a bit of coaxing.

Well, I'm bushed and tomorrow is Monday - back to work. I need at least another week off to get more accomplished!
