Lots of Color...

Well, our bodies are tired of painting. It's been a little over a week and we are exhausted. We've been working non-stop 12-16 hour days, taking advantage of the weather and the time. Yesterday, I got the kitchen second coated and edged the ceilings in four rooms, painted a wall in the office and got the other two walls painted in the living room. It still doesn't look like much - kind of hard to photograph. Here's a few shots of the kitchen..




The photos don't do the colors justice. We've got flourescent lights in the ceiling fixtures, so everything looks a bit off.

Steven and Anthony got the garage door finished, which took all day. Steven also finished installing the solatube that shines over the kitchen sink. I wish we could have gotten the stairs to the deck landing in the garage. Cabinets are supposed to come today and that would have been nice, but we worked on the house until 12:30 a.m. That was enough. Besides, we don't want to drive all of our neighbors absolutely crazy and get arrested in the process.

Today, I'll focus on packing and moving some stuff into the garage...
