Yesterday we spent 8 hours working on the house, until it got too dark to see. We got so much done. There was little time for pictures. As I mentioned earlier, most of our time was spent on one roof or the other installing solatubes and ice and water shield. It was really a lot of fun. While we were up on the roof we got a chance to see the wildlife that inhabits our little plot. Deer were seen bounding through the property and we even got a chance to witness two racoons having it out. "Larry," as my neighbor loving calls the big fat coon chased "Moe" up one of our trees and knocked him out of it. There were sounds accompanying the raucus that were unimaginable. I guess I've never heard coons fighting before. Very eerie!
Today, we're both pretty beat, but we've got to get back to it and knock off a chunk. Hope you enjoy this a.m.'s shots. The little black speck on the left side of the roof is one of the solatubes we installed. The other three are on the other side of the livingroom, out of view. The second shot is of the garage, where we installed the sticky black tarry sheets that kept sticking to themselves. The third shot is of the holes for the solatubes in the kitchen.
