Doors and Windows are In...

Steven called to let me know he's going to be late. He's at a client's office doing an install that is going awry. He told me when he called that he's been to the house, and we'll have to remove some windows and doors because it's too stuffy in there. I told him that he's crazy! It's good that it's hot in there. Maybe we'll evaporate some of the moisture. Living with water all around you makes for a pretty moist interior environment.

Pictures on our progress will have to follow this weekend. It's been too dark, due to the unpleasant weather conditions (rain, dank, yuck...) to take any inside pictures after I get out of work. You'll all just have to wait until Saturday or Sunday to see the progress.

I'm hoping we'll make lots of progress this weekend. This wiring has surely been slow going. We have so little time after we get home from work, change into our grubby clothes and get a bite to eat. I've no imagination for cooking, let alone cooking something quick on the fly that is good for us and won't make us gain 100lbs over the duration of this project. I'm already way too fat! Cameron (home2k9) and I are in the same boat...

Speaking of Cameron (my co-worker, partner in crime, partner in mojito making and consuming...), she and my other co-worker, Kelly, have volunteered to help us on Saturday to get some soffits built. That should be fun. Both gals have graciously volunteered their husbands to help with the task. I think it's great that we can volunteer our husbands and they haven't a say in it! They probably have a lot to say when we're out of ear shot...

Hans is happy as long as he's fed afterwards! Looking forward to kicking some soffit-butt this weekend... fire up the cameras indeed.
