It's My Birthday!

It's my birthday and I'm feeling kind of blue. My husband's away in southern Oregon and I'm home alone, layed up with a broken wing - rotator cuff surgery last week. My youngest called early this morning and my oldest came by shortly thereafter with a cake. We were able to visit for a while before she had to take off to do her errands. Hubbie called this afternoon and promised to take me to dinner Saturday evening, if I'm up to it. I'll be up to it!



Yesterday I was feeling pretty good and overdid it a bit. I got a lot of work done on two paintings - one of which I've been planning in my head since Christmas. Every artist I've ever talked to says that you have to do your art every day. I'm okay with that for a while, but then the ideas dry up. I'm not sure what's next, but the pile of new paint tubes is begging for my exploration!
