Recovering from the Mystery

I can't blame it all on the Mystery, but it had a hand in doing me in... I asked them to kill me off last year. Maybe they are "killing me softly." I've been feeling so sick the last three days. I wouldn't be surprised if someone slipped me some poison. It's just beginning to wear off. I'm finally able to eat again, if you call oatmeal eating!

Last weekend was loooooonnngggg, and it was fun! The weather cooperated, for the most part. It was cold on Saturday. I had to retire the leather mini skirt for more practicle clothing on Sunday. Sunday rained first thing in the a.m. It made me not want to participate, but my husband cajoled me into returning for more abuse by the ever zealous slueths. The young ones were particularly trying. They had some amazingly crazy questions.

FYI - I didn't do it!!!! Many of the players accused me - sweet, innocent Candy. Can you believe it? As it turns out, I wasn't quite old enough to committed all three murders. Yes, you read correctly, three murders were committed.

So, Bunny R. Fuzz did it with the revolver - the very old revolver. The Langley police handcuffed her and carried her away...

On another note, I met a fellow blogger whilst escaping the sleuths in the bookstore. Her name is Mindy. We had a fun converstation about blogging, collecting old fabrics and buttons, and our kids. I can't find her website. Are you out there Mindy?????

I'm here! Just a little slow. All that thinking over the weekend did me in. I was SO relieved to find out my new friend wasn't a killer! We loved our visit to the island...what a special place you live in. I'm back to school, baseball, meals and laundry, while memories of murders dance through my head.

I'm so glad you all had a good time. There was a great deal of relief on my part as well to not be the murderer. I really wasn't looking forward to being paraded away in handcuffs - too much attention. The lime light (sp?) isn't for me.

Please let me know when an island trip is in your future. We would love to show you around... Do you know about the Writer's Conference that happens here each year?
