We spent the long weekend painting the garage and figuring out how to install the garage door. Steven also stained more of the cedar for the front of the house and chose the layout pattern. Not too much to see yet.
Monday, the sheetrock contractor stopped by to offer spraying the primer on the inside of the house as an "I'm sorry for screwing up your vacation plans." That was very nice and much a life saver. We are so sore from just priming and painting the garage that I'm afraid of what we'll feel like after two weeks of painting the inside and outside of the house. Yikes! That starts Friday.
We gave our notice on the little rental and now it's time to really get serious about packing. As soon as the garage door goes up we can move things into the garage and get the rental garage cleaned out. I'm planning on moving all of the kitchen and bathroom things that are already packed into the new cabinets once they arrive next week. It's getting very exciting. We're looking forward to having a life once this project is done. And, no more projects other than the yard for a very long time!
